Ryan Kennedy is an associate attorney focusing his practice on life science and biotechnology patent counseling and assisting in the prosecution and management of global patent portfolios. Ryan graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2004 with a B.S. in biochemistry. While at Muhlenberg, he played on the men’s ice hockey team. Ryan received his J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law in 2009. Upon graduating from Villanova, he clerked for the Honorable Paul M. Yatron of the Berks County Court of Common Pleas. Ryan is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He also serves as a volunteer attorney for the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project.

Before joining Howson & Howson, Ryan was a civil litigator with over a decade of experience in professional and general liability defense, personal injury, and commercial litigation. Ryan has successfully litigated numerous trials, arbitrations, and mediations throughout the Commonwealth and Federal Court. Currently, Ryan is pursuing an M.S. in microbiology and cell science with a concentration in medical microbiology and biochemistry from the University of Florida.
