Richard F. Kane is an associate who primarily assists in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of biotechnology and life science patents, both U.S. and foreign. Richard received a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Delaware. He received his J.D. from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law where he was an Associate Editor of the Drexel Law Review. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Richard assists in the preparation, filing, and prosecution of patents in the mechanical and computer science arts. He has provided legal support for several cases tried in the federal district and appellate courts in the United States. Richard also has experience in the prosecution of trademark applications and related litigation, licensing, and agreement work.

Prior to his career in intellectual property law, Richard worked as a laboratory technician for a global specialty chemical company, where he assisted in the research of new additives and performed quality assurance testing on diesel fuel.
