Cathy Kodroff has extensive experience in strategic counseling and has managed hundreds of global IP portfolios encompassing extensive foreign counterparts in the life sciences, particularly biotechnology, genetic engineering, and process chemistry. She has been expertly prosecuting US and global patents for decades in the fields of gene therapy and delivery systems therefor, formulations, process chemistry, new chemical entities, peptide, protein-based therapeutics, and vaccines.

Ms. Kodroff works with her clients to identify their IP goals and facilitates the successful development of strategies for achieving those goals.  She enjoys helping clients create and maintain successful partnerships, accomplished, in part, through her many long-term relationships with a global network of patent professionals. Cathy has assisted non-profit and corporate clients in a variety of IP matters in addition to patent strategies, including licensing agreements, material transfer agreements, confidentiality agreements, infringement, freedom-to-operate opinions, and state-of-the-art searches and opinions. Cathy has also assisted litigation and transactional counsel on behalf of her clients.
